As a highly regarded helicopter tour, you can encounter many spiritual experiences during the journey. One of the most crucial and powerful aspects of the journey is the visit to Lake Mansarovar. On Lake Mansarovar, you can take a sacred dip, perform a ritual, and feel the peaceful atmosphere around. This lake is believed to wash away the sins and give peace while you see the first view of Mount Kailash. Along with this, reaching the base of Mount Kailash is another key spiritual experience. This is where the main highlights begin. The route starts at Yam Dwar, and as you follow the journey, you pass through the cliffs, streams, and the North Face of Mount Kailash. On this journey, crossing the Dolma La Pass is the hardest part. However, it is one of the most rewarding parts at the same time.

Now, do note that while you will fly for the major part of the journey, you will still need to trek a bit. The good news for those who are not in the best physical shape is that the trek is rather short for the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Helicopter 2026.

One of the key achievements in the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra by Overland journey is passing through the Dolma La Pass. This pass lies at an altitude of 5,636 meters and is one of the defining features of the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra. It is also known as a sacred threshold in Tibetan Buddhism, and it represents the aspect of spiritual rebirth. Passing through this pass is known to bless you with lord Tara and cleanse your sins. Dolma La Pass is marked by the prayer flags and pilgrims along the way, which adds to the profound energy of the place.

Trekking to this region typically lasts on the second day of the Kailash Kora, but in our case, it is on the thirteenth day and is only a passing checkpoint. Regardless, it is still a challenging test of endurance and the journey starts from Dirapuk Monastery. You walk through the rocky terrain and thin air, which requires you to have decent physical strength and mental resilience. The good news here is that your effort is rewarded with stunning views of the humbling mountains as you pass through this pass.

Needless to say, conquering this tough pass is a spiritual triumph on its own which transcends the physical challenges. The conquest offers you a deep sense of accomplishment, divine blessings, and a connection with the sacred self. Completing the challenging journey past Dolma La Pass is a testament to your faith, devotion, and the enduring power of the human spirit.
